Beauty…
April 18, 2012
I wanted to share some images from a photoshoot I had the pleasure of being part of this past weekend. The photographer, Kimberly of Kimberly Joy Photography is talented at what she does. I love the images she captured and I am excited about us working together in the future.

On beautiful Jasmine’s eyes, I used the new eyeshadow palette from the MAC Reel Sexy Collection called Dynamic Duo 4. I love the matte, yet highly pigmented texture of the eyeshadows in this particular palette. On her lips, I used Up The Amp lipstick by MAC.
What are your favorite eyeshadow and lip colors this spring?

New Year Update…
February 2, 2012
Happy, Happy, Happy New year!!!
I feel blessed to have made it to 2012. Saying I have missed blogging is an understatement, but I have been soo busy with work, that I have not been able to find a balance with work, life and blogging.
That brings me to my blogging goals for 2012. I started off this year evaluating what direction I wanted to take this blog. When I first started this blog, I really wanted the blog to be the perfect venue to let my ideas run free, share information and to meet like-minded people. Through out the past 2 years, I have been able to do that, but I think I could have done a better job with meeting my initial goals.
So, this year I am on a mission to interact more with the blogging community, work on posting more of my work and sharing even more ideas and information. It might take me a little while to get back running, but please bear with me.
I have some L.I.F.T posts, bridal posts from weddings I did in 2011 and Jan 2012 and some beauty tips coming up.
And because a blog post is useless without an image
Below is a sneak peak at one of my “most favoritest” brides in the whole wide world, Temi at her traditional engagement
I love you

Bridal Beauty Tip of the Day:
Keesha had an outdoor wedding, so I made accommodations to match the location. When getting married outdoors, sunlight can make a naked face look washed-out, especially against a background of strong greens. I made sure I added color to her face in the form of bronzers and highlighters. I also made sure her face was properly primed and set with a setting powder to ensure her makeup did not move!
Below are some images from her wedding day:

This is what I used to create Justice’s look. All products are by MAC unless otherwise stated:
Face:
Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone Treatment
Use whatever concealer, foundation and powder that works best on your skin type. Make sure the products match your skin tone perfectly and blend, blend, blend. I used my Graftobian HD foundation palette to get her perfect match.
Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Deep Dark
Prep +Prime Transparent Finishing Powder
Eyebrows:
Spiked Eye Brow Pencil
Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Tete-A-Tint Eyeshadow (to highlight the brow bone)
Woodwinked Eyeshadow (on lids)
NYX Eyeliner Pencil in Sapphire (around the lash line as a base), then I added Sea and Sky Mineralized Eyeshadow (I used the darker blue side of the eyeshadow. I wet my angle eyeliner brush and used it to line around the eye)
Sea and Sky Mineralize Duo Eyeshadow (in Crease)
Carbon (to darken Crease)
Lashes:
I can’t remember which mascara I used.
False Lashes- Ardell Lashes #134

Enjoy!
